安全带和气囊的使用观念(已翻译)—-帮在美国夏威夷卡友 Maholo 代发
一位在愛卡認識的卡友, 在看了 CCTV 後, 所發給我的信. 因為他在海外無法使用中文, 及手機認證發帖. 因此托我代發.
希望給各位開車能 "養成上安全帶的好習慣", 做一個說明.

其中提到氣囊爆炸的時速及力度. 在氣囊打開時, 對沒繫安全帶的乘客, 造成的傷害比繫安全帶還要來的大 ... 的說明.
(此部份也是各國定訂上車必綁安全帶的法規來源, 也是像其他幾位前輩所說, 西歐及美國各國政府規定, 當地車廠的內銷車種, 一律規定安全帶不上時, 氣囊設定不能啟動的重要依據)

From the two articles posted by you a few days ago, I believe that you are kind person who cares about others. In case you agree with me that we should discuss the significance of safety belts, please start a topic on this subject. Attached please find a short discussion about airbags and safety belts. I hope that this might be of some help for you to write up something in Chinese. You are welcome to use as much content in my attachment as you wish.

Lessons from the KMR Accident: Airbags and Safety Belts
Recently, there are a lot of discussions about the KMR accident. Although we don’t know the details of this accident, there are two things which are quite clear at this moment:
1.        The KMR was traveling at about 100 km/h (according to the driver) right before this accident; and
2.        The passenger at the front seat did NOT wear the safety belt when the car collided.
Most people focus on the fact that all airbags failed to react when the KMR crashed. Furthermore, people believed that the passenger would NOT have suffered such serious injury if the airbags had worked properly.
In my opinion, however, it is possible that the situation would have been even WORSE, had the airbags worked as wished by most people. Why?! Because this passenger did NOT use the safety belt! Let me try to explain:
1.        When the car stopped suddenly due to the crash, the passenger flew forward at the same speed of the car right before the collision. (The safety belt would have prevented her from moving forward, had she used it.)
2.        According to this article (
*****, obtained by a random search on www.baidu.com ), an airbag opens at a speed of about 300 km/h, with a backward force of about 180 kg.
3.        Since the passenger were moving forward at a speed of about 100 km/h and the airbag had been moving backward at a speed of about 300 km/h, the actual speed would have been about 400 km/h if she had smashed against the airbag.

Under such situation, it is not difficult to predict what kind of injury this passenger would have suffered from the impact of the exploding airbag. There was a real accident in the US and a child was killed by the airbag.
So, what did we learn from this accident?
1.        Always, remember: “ALWAYS”, use your safety belt, no matter how slow your car goes. For example, even if a car is going at a speed of 25 km/h, the passenger will be hit by the airbag at a speed of about 325 km/h – more than enough to cause considerable damages.
2.        Never, remember: “NEVER”, let a child to sit in the front seat. Also, do NOT seat with a child in the front seat by just holding him/her.
3.        Always use child seat for a young child and fix the child seat on the back seat.
Some people may ask: why do we use airbags if they are so dangerous?!
Well, airbags are wonderful as long as you use the safety belt. Safety belts prevent passengers from contacting the airbags, until the airbags are fully expanded. At that stage, the passengers are not hitting the airbags at a speed faster than 300 km/h.
Remember: airbags could KILL you if you do NOT use your safety belt!!!

KMR事故, 我们学到了什么: 气囊及安全带
  最近, 很多人讨论到有关KMR的事故. 虽然我们不了解事故的细节, 但从现况是有两点可以清楚的看到.
1.      事故发生前, KMR的移动速度大概 100KM 每小时(依驾驶所说); 以及;
2.      当车子发生碰撞时, 前座乘客并未系上安全带.

大多数人的焦点都放在事故发生时, 气囊没有反应. 而且, 人们相信如果气囊正常的工作时, 乘客不会受到如此严重的伤害.
  在我看来, 不管怎么样, 如果气囊如大多数人希望的工作, 那时的状况有可能更加糟糕.  为什么呢? 因为乘客并未使用安全带. 让我试着向大家说明:
1.  当车子发生撞击而突然停止时, 乘客会以车子发生撞击时的同等速度飞快的向前移动 (如果她系着安全带, 那安全带会避免她往前的移动)
2.   按此条件来看 (自百度搜索到的资料 *****), 一个气囊打开时的时速大约 300KM, 还包括180Kg的反向推力.
3.   自此, 乘客户以约100KM往前冲, 同时气囊又以约300KM速度往后作用, 如果她撞在气囊上的话, 此时她身上的冲击速度将达到400KM.  

  在此状况下, 气囊如果正常的爆开, 那将很难预期何种的伤害会发生在乘客的身上. 在美国就有一例真实的事故, 一个小孩因此被气囊给害死了.

所以, 我们从事故上学到了什么?
1.   总是, 记得: “永远都是”, 使用安全带, 不管你的车速有多么的低. 例如, 既使一部车只以25KM速度前进, 若发生事故, 乘客将受到气囊约 325KM 速度的冲击这力量大的足以产生让你不能忽略的伤害.
2.   不要, 记得:”绝对不要”, 让小孩坐到前座来. 当然, 也不能在前座抱着小孩.  
3.   乘载幼儿时, 一定要使用儿童安全椅, 并把椅子牢牢的固定在后座.

有些人可能会问: 气囊如果那么危险, 为何我们还要使用它呢?
是的, 气囊和安全带合并使用是最好的保护. 直到气囊完全的打开时, 安全带可以避免乘客和气囊的直接接触. 在这个时候, 乘客可以不受到气囊打开时, 以超过300KM速度的打击.

请记得: 如果不系上安全带, 气囊可以让你致命.

后记: (继然翻译加打字那么久, 小弟就再啰嗦一下)
1.          各为记的我发过的 KMR 后座儿童辅助安全扣吗? 若小孩未满 12岁坐后座, 请务必也记得用此安全扣. 这可以更加保障后座安全带对小孩可能造成的意外伤害.
2.          希望各位能了解, 为何有些车的出厂设定在安全带没系上的话, 气囊是不会打开. 在龙长老及几位前辈发的帖子里, 看到不管 // 车都有气囊未爆状况. 当然有可能是车子质量问题, 有些则可能是车子设定问题. 但无论如何, 养成上车先绑好安全后再启动的好习惯就对了.

CCTV 总是把自己放在一个道德的批判者上,而没有考虑如何去正确的引导消费者养成良好的驾驶习惯,或者他们根本不知道SRS的作用机理,其实本来这样好的一个例子完全可以正确的引导消费者,前排同样的两个人,一个系安全带,一个没系,结果却大相径庭。而且受冲击严重的反而毫发误伤。
想起老江的一句话“媒体啊,还是要提高自己的知识水平,不要总想着搞出个大新闻,就把XXX批判一番...”
