谣言成真！！通用发布Koenigsegg-Saab收购初步细节

经历数天的谣言和推测，通用今早官方澄清谣言，Saab这个品牌将很快回到瑞典人的手里。从很多角度来讲对于Saab这个奇异独特的品牌这是最好的归宿。Koenigsegg自己本身就是一个怪球，专门从事在斯堪的纳维亚半岛这个国家法定限速不能超过60英里/小时的地方制造快的变态的超级跑车。
欧洲投资银行（瑞典**的协作行）将为这笔交易的一部分进行6亿美元的融资.*****一如通用继续向Penske提供Penske权属的土星牌汽车一样*****，通用会在未来的一段时间内向Saab提供平台和动力系统。Saab继续使用通用硬件的时间表并不确切，但是至少未来5-6年没什么问题。新的Saab95将会在Trollhättan制造，接着在瑞典将会发布94X跨界车。这2个新车型很可能在现有的底盘和车架的基础上完成生命周期。同样Saab 91很有可能会在2010年或2011年发布。真正的大问号是本来要基于通用 Delta II平台制造的下一代的Saab93。

After days of speculation and rumor, General Motors made it officialthis morning, Saab will soon be back in Swedish hands. In manyrespects, this is the most fitting result for quirky brand. Koenigseggis an oddball itself, building insanely fast supercars in aScandinavian country where you can't legally drive over about 60 mph.
Thedeal will be partly financed through a $600 million loan from theEuropean Investment Bank that is co-signed by the Swedish government.Just as GM will continue to provide Penske-owned Saturn with cars for atime, it will supply platforms and powertrains to Saab. The length oftime that Saab will continue to use GM hardware hasn't been disclosed,but it will likely be for at least the next 5-6 years – if not longer.The new 9-5 which will be built in Trollhättan, Sweden is launchinglater this year followed by the 9-4X crossover. Both of these willprobably complete their lifecycle on current platforms. The same islikely true for the 9-1 which may launch in 2010 or 2011. The bigquestion mark will be the next generation 9-3, which had been expectedto move to GM's Delta II platform.
