Wet Wet Wet 成立于1982年，是一支来自苏格兰的著名乐队，早年以唱灵歌为主，在推出第一张专辑《Popped In Souled Out》之后即开始改变曲风，并以翻唱怀旧情歌而在排行榜上打出了一片天下。
乐队的四位成员是：Graeme Clark（贝司手兼主唱），Neil Mitchell（键盘手），Marti Pellow（主唱）以及Tom cunningham（鼓手）。
Wet Wet Wet的首张专辑《Popped In Souled Out》由老资格的灵歌制作高手Willie Mitchell负责制作。第二张专辑《Sweet Little Mystery 》也很快发行了，但与前一张一样，并没有取得骄人的成绩。
1988年是Wet Wet Wet的转折点，当时他们已有5首单曲取得不错成绩，并且有一首已上升到排行榜的位置，不过这首名为《With A Little Help From My Friends 》的歌曲实质上也是一首翻唱作品。 成名之后，Marti应邀出席了Prince的“Trust”演唱会，并与Joe Gocker一起演唱了这首翻唱的老歌。此后，乐队还为Elton John的全美巡演作过暖场演出。并且再接再厉推出专辑《Holding Back The River》，但是他们的创作热情有减退的危机。
由于乐队成员明显感到自己在乐坛中身处颓势，更加对专辑的出版不敢掉以轻心。1994年，Wet Wet Wet 凭藉影片《四个葬礼和一个婚礼》中之感人插曲《Love Is All Around》再度蜚声世界流行乐坛，而且在商业上取得了巨大的成功。
Wet Wet Wet 乐队目前已拥有七张演唱专辑，这其中大多数都登上过排行榜冠军的宝座，而由其演唱的《Angle Eyes》，《Goodnight Girl》 等歌均已成为经典的情歌作品。
